The collective soul body is experiencing a radical awakening in consciousness. This is the beginning of the Aquarian age, manifesting itself in the form of a radical critique against patriarchal values. This is being played out in the political culture wars, religious nationalism and climate catastrophe. The hunger for a new awareness can be seen throughout culture as well as the polarized reaction that change triggers.

The Aquarian Man is a representation of an enlightened potential future self. A person with the metaphorical qualities of pure Christ consciousness, with the full expression of the Buddha nature. I’m not referring to the dogmatic and co-opted religious interpretations of Christ or Buddha, but to the capacity both individually and collectively to transform and experience a radical change of conscience. 

The bronze sculpture of the Aquarian Man is an incense burner. Once the incense is lit, a steady stream of smoke gives form to an activated enlightened consciousness. I’ve conceptualized scents and hand blended incense based on three masculine archetypes the, ‘Wild Man’, ‘Mary Magdalene on My Mind’ and ‘Aquarian Man’. The incense is burned inside of a bronze abalone shell that rest inside the head.
